There is not an SD card for infotainment system RPOs IOR and IOS because they do not have embedded navigation systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10146\" src=\"https:\/\/sandyblogs.com\/techlink\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F01-nav-radio.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F01-nav-radio.jpg 600w, https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F01-nav-radio-300x206.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><strong>Fig. 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In response to dealership feedback, the assembly plant no longer places the navigation SD card separately in the Loose Items bag.<\/p>\n<p>On vehicles built prior to October 8, 2018, the navigation SD card was placed in a smaller bag labeled Keys (Fig. 2), which was included inside the Loose Items bag.<\/p>\n<p>On vehicles built on October 8, 2018 or later, the SD card is\u00a0installed in the SD card slot before the vehicle leaves the assembly plant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10147\" src=\"https:\/\/sandyblogs.com\/techlink\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F02-nav-keys-bag.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F02-nav-keys-bag.jpg 600w, https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F02-nav-keys-bag-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><strong>Fig. 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Form Special Instruction Items section has been revised to point out the inclusion of the navigation SD card, how it is shipped, and that it should be inserted into the SD card slot. (Fig. 3)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10148\" src=\"https:\/\/sandyblogs.com\/techlink\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F03-nav-PDI-form.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F03-nav-PDI-form.jpg 600w, https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/F03-nav-PDI-form-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><strong>Fig. 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During PDI, confirm\u00a0the SD card is installed into the SD card\u00a0slot in the center console or the center of the instrument panel below the climate controls. The vehicle ignition must be off when removing or installing the SD card.<\/p>\n<p>If the navigation SD card is not inserted into the SD slot, the infotainment system may display an SD card error message.
