The DTCs include P2724 (Solenoid Valve 5 Stuck On) on applicable 6-speed transmissions, P0747 (Solenoid Valve 1 Stuck On) on applicable 9-speed transmissions, and P2715 (Solenoid Valve 4 Stuck On) on applicable CVTs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">When servicing these transmissions with these particular DTCs set, be aware that the vehicle could move forward if it is started in Neutral. In some failure modes, the friction and steel plates for the first gear clutch may be burned so badly that they have been welded together (Fig. 3), which may result in possible vehicle movement. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13160\" src=\"https:\/\/techlink.mynetworkcontent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/F03-plate-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"740\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/F03-plate-1.jpg 740w, https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/F03-plate-1-300x195.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/F03-plate-1-85x55.jpg 85w, https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/F03-plate-1-200x130.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><b>Fig 3<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The new danger statement for 6-speed transmissions reads, \u201cIf DTC P2724 is present, the vehicle will have forward propulsion while in neutral.
