{"id":15918,"date":"2022-02-24T14:29:14","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T19:29:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/?p=15918"},"modified":"2022-04-14T11:56:11","modified_gmt":"2022-04-14T15:56:11","slug":"afit-software-update-v16-adds-2023-models","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/?p=15918","title":{"rendered":"AFIT Software Update V16 Adds 2023 Models"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest software update (CH-47976-SWV16) for the CH-47976 Active Fuel Injection Tester (AFIT) has recently been released.<\/p>\n<p>The software update includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2023 model year database V19.00 updates for all vehicle applications deploying through July 25, 2022<\/li>\n<li>PC Application Software V4.0<\/li>\n<li>MCU Firmware V3.45<\/li>\n<li>DMU Firmware V1.31 (optimizes support for Fuel Pressure Regulator Pulse Width Modulation Control)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>TIP:<\/strong> The GMDE-approved Bosch USB to Serial Cable CH-47976-3A is required and fully compatible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Software Download<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CH-47976-SWV16 software update is available through the GM GlobalConnect app (U.S. only) Special Tools and Software Updates. From the software downloads page, select the link for <a href=\"https:\/\/gmtoolsandequipment.com\/en-US\/Pages\/ItemDetail.aspx?SKU=CH-47976-SWV11\">AFIT (Active Fuel Injection Tester) Software Update \u2013 V16.00<\/a> January 2022 and follow the instructions.
