The software should be downloaded to ensure proper functionality of the AFIT. It includes testing data for all vehicle programs launching through July 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The software update includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PC Application Software V4.0 (Windows 10\/7 compatible)<\/li>\n<li>MCU Firmware V3.45<\/li>\n<li>2024 MY Database V20.00 (includes applications up to STC July 17, 2023)<\/li>\n<li>DMU Firmware V1.31<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For dealerships using Windows 10, the GMDE-approved Bosch USB-to-Serial Cable CH-47976-3A is required and fully compatible for the AFIT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Software Download<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The AFIT software update is available through the GM GlobalConnect app (U.S. only) Special Tools and Software Updates. From the software downloads page, select the link for <a href=\"https:\/\/gmtoolsandequipment.com\/en-US\/Pages\/ItemDetail.aspx?SKU=CH-47976-SWV11\">AFIT (Active Fuel Injector Tester) Software Update \u2013 V18.00<\/a> January 2023 and follow the instructions.
