{"id":18636,"date":"2024-06-14T10:09:49","date_gmt":"2024-06-14T14:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/?p=18636"},"modified":"2024-06-14T10:09:49","modified_gmt":"2024-06-14T14:09:49","slug":"transmission-out-of-round-snap-rings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/?p=18636","title":{"rendered":"Transmission Out-of-Round Snap Rings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A slipping Drive or no Drive condition may be present along with DTCs P0746 (Transmission Control Solenoid Valve 1 Stuck Off) or P0747 (Transmission Control Solenoid Valve 1 Stuck On) on some 2024 Encore GX, Enclave, XT4, XT5, XT6, Blazer, Trailblazer, Traverse, Traverse Limited, Acadia and Terrain models equipped with a GF8 8T65 or GF9 9T45\/50\/60\/65 automatic transmission (RPO M3F, M3W, M3H, M3G, M3T, M3V, MF8, M3U).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Drive conditions may be caused by an out-of-round snap ring, including the 1-2-3-4-5-6 Clutch Spring Retaining Ring (Fig. 8, #594) or 1-2-3-4-5-6 Clutch Backing Plate Retaining Ring.
