{"id":9974,"date":"2018-07-08T14:47:12","date_gmt":"2018-07-08T18:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandyblogs.com\/techlink\/?p=9974"},"modified":"2019-01-03T12:02:55","modified_gmt":"2019-01-03T17:02:55","slug":"new-afit-software-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gm-techlink.com\/?p=9974","title":{"rendered":"New AFIT Software Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new software update (CH-47976-250) for the CH-47976 Active Fuel Injector Tester (AFIT) is now available for download that adds 2019 model year applications.<\/p>\n<p>The software release includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>86 2019 model year vehicle applications<\/li>\n<li>Database support for new applications that use existing cables<\/li>\n<li>Database support for new applications that use in-line adapters<\/li>\n<li>Database support for new applications that are now using SENT<\/li>\n<li>Database support for new applications that are now using KL9<\/li>\n<li>Firmware to support new G7 &amp; G8 Cables and special crank procedure for certain applications per GM Service Information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the software release continues to support the SIDI engine applications that use essential SIDI adapter harnesses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Software Download<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CH-47976-250 AFIT software update is available from the GM Dealer Equipment website. Download the software through the Service Workbench selection of \u201cEssential Tools \u2013 Software Updates\u201d in GM GlobalConnect (U.S. only). Select the link for \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gmtoolsandequipment.com\/en-US\/Pages\/ItemDetail.aspx?SKU=CH-47976-250\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AFIT (Active Fuel Injector Tester) Software Update \u2013 Database V13.00 MCU Firmware V3.40, DMU Firmware V1.20, PC App V4.00_July 2018<\/a><\/strong>\u201d and follow the instructions.
