The latest diagnostic assistance from the professionals at the GM Technical Assistance Center is now available in the October GM Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Newsletter. It covers a number of concerns that TAC is addressing every day on cases with dealerships. Each month, we publish the newsletter as a PDF, making it easy to view online or print for reference.
With the tips provided by TAC, dealerships get additional information on the latest diagnostics and repairs to help get vehicles back to customers quickly. Each newsletter provides details about recent Bulletins and Preliminary Information (PI) that have been released along with tips on other known concerns, diagnostic testing, parts information and availability, and new product news.
The newsletter is organized in categories covering General; Engine; Electrical, Chassis and Trim; Transmission and Drivetrain; Infotainment and OnStar; Hybrid and EV; DCM and TAC Cases and other topics.

The TAC Service Newsletter is posted on TechLink as soon as it’s available each month. A PDF of the newsletter also is posted on the right side of the TechLink home page. Since the information in the newsletter is timely, the PDF is replaced with the new version each month. For the latest Sentinel newsletter, select the Service Ops link at the top of the TechLink home page.
Another newsletter that will likely be hard to find. I appreciate the newsletters/magazine y’all put out, (service ops sentinel, etc.) If they’re intended for technicians, there should be a link at the beginning of SI, just like the Techlink, so that the technicians don’t have to go hunt around for it… We have a heck of a time finding all the stuff that’s scattered all around GC, CoL,STC and various other places….
