When creating a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) case using the Dealer Case Management (DCM) system on a 2020-2025 Corvette with a Direct Clutch Transmission (DCT) (Fig. 19) performance or leak condition, there are several steps to take to ensure that TAC has all the information necessary to provide assistance.

Prior to starting a TAC case, technicians should perform a vehicle-wide DTC scan and upload the session log and the picture to the case using the DCM.
TIP: Do not clear any DTCs prior to getting the session log. All data is needed to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
The DTC information will help TAC provide a timely response without the need to request additional information.

When sending session logs into TAC for performance concerns, make sure to bookmark the session where the concern takes place. For the sake of expedience, bookmarks are always appreciated by TAC and help to prevent requests for multiple sessions.
For more information about attaching session logs to TAC cases (U.S.), refer to #PIP5632. In Canada, email session logs following the process outlined in #PIP4902.
Transmission Leaks
In addition, if a vehicle has a transmission fluid leak condition, be sure to attach photos of the leak test with the leak trace powder applied to the DCM case.
The leak test photos with the leak test powder also should be included in the warranty claim. If photos are not included with the warranty claim, it will result in a debit of the entire repair to the dealer.
Refer to Fluid Leak Diagnosis in the appropriate Service Information for details on possible points of fluid leaks.
For more information, refer to #PIP6026.
