June Service Newsletter from the Experts at GM TAC

The latest diagnostic assistance from the professionals at the GM Technical Assistance Center is now available in the June GM Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Newsletter. It covers a number of concerns that TAC is addressing every day on cases with dealerships. Each month, we publish the newsletter as a PDF, making it easy to view online or print for reference.

With the tips provided by TAC, dealerships get additional information on the latest diagnostics and repairs to help get vehicles back to customers quickly. Each newsletter provides details about recent Bulletins and Preliminary Information (PI) that have been released along with tips on other known concerns, diagnostic testing, parts information and availability, and new product news.

The newsletter is organized in several categories, including General; Engine; Electrical, Chassis and Trim; Transmission and Drivetrain; Infotainment and OnStar; Hybrid and EV; DCM and TAC Cases as well as other topics.

I agree with Richard, Canada has been left in the dark long enough. GM wants us to be efficient and of the highest grade of education and excellence, however the current structure and policies are crippling. GM is “researching” and looking over ” regulatory requirements”. That translates to absolutely nothing. Same product, same issues, same correction. Why the divide among US and Canada?

  2. GM is researching a new system that will meet the regulatory requirement for Canada. More information will be released when available.

When are you bringing DCM and Online TAC case creation to Canada?

It’s 2024 enough of having to wait on hold on a phone call that I don’t get paid to make.

You took away the ability to close online – with no reason. Figure it out. Get Canada access already.
