The low-beam headlamp may be inoperative on some 2019-2024 Silverado 4500HD/5500HD/6500HD models. (Fig. 6)

If the low-beam headlamp is not working properly, check the electrical connector for any damage by removing the top access cap of the headlamp (Fig. 7) and removing the low-beam headlamp bulb.

If the connector is not discolored or damaged, replace the bulb only. However, if the connector is yellow or damaged, replace the connector with a new pig tail and replace the bulb.
TIP: Do not replace the entire headlamp assembly for this condition.
Be sure to seal the heat shrink tube properly. The splices should not be above the connector when reinstalled.
