The available Executive Second-Row Seats (RPO ABV, AL4) in the 2025 ESCALADE IQ (Fig. 5) feature power operation for second-row passengers, which makes it easy to adjust the seats for access to the third-row seats. Power operation of the second-row seats can be controlled using the switches on the C-pillars or using the Front or Rear Command Center touchscreens (A26 or A34 heater and air conditioning control assembly).
Fig. 5
During PDI, it may be noticed that the second-row seats do not move when using the C-pillar switches or the Front or Rear Command Center touchscreens. If this condition is found, check to see if the blue strap from the factory has been removed. (Fig. 6)
The strap may be pulling on one of the emergency release straps at the base of the seat, which can cause the micro-switch to open and prevent seat movement. Remove the blue strap and using the power controls to move the seat. If there is still not any movement of the seats, push the seatback reward until it locks in place and tray the power controls again.

C-Pillar Switches
The second-row seats can be moved forward or rearward using the C-pillar switches. (Fig. 7) Press the bottom of the switch to adjust the seat forward and tilt the seatback forward. Press the top of the switch to adjust the seat rearward and recline the seatback.
TIP: The C-pillar-mounted seat switches will time out (power down) after 2 minutes if any of the doors are left open, including the etrunk and liftgate. To re-energize the C-pillar switches, press any key fob button or open and close any door.

The executive second-row seats do not fold flat. They only tilt forward to provide access to the third-row seats.
Command Center Touchscreens
To adjust the second-row seats using one of the touchscreens, select the rear seat icon at the bottom of the screen and then select the Position tab at the top of the screen. (Fig. 8) Select the desired adjustment feature on the seat image.

Seating and Exit positions for each second-row seat also can be saved using the memory settings. After selecting the Position tab, touch and hold the Exit Position or Saved Position button to save the desired position. Briefly touch the Exit Position or Saved Position button to recall that position.
Emergency Pull Strap
Use the emergency pull strap only if the vehicle loses power and the touchscreens are unavailable. (Fig. 9) The emergency strap can be pulled from a second-row or third row seat to incline the second-row seat forward and exit the third-row seats. The emergency pull strap should not be used to manually incline the second-row seat forward.
