HUMMER EV trucks feature standard 35-inch tires that are specially engineered to deliver outstanding traction and towering ground clearance. (Fig. 12) In addition, the pickup can fit tires up to 37 inches without any vehicle modifications other than a calibration (RPO RWQ) to allow for accurate speedometer readings.

Dealerships can access the special speedometer calibration file when installing 37-inch tires by contacting the Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC). Refer to RPO RWQ when calling the TCSC.
The installation of larger 37-inch tires is a customer pay option. Any fees for the calibration file as well as dealership installation of the tires is the customer’s responsibility.
When removing and installing the tires, be sure to follow the appropriate Service Information procedures. (Fig. 13) It may be difficult to remove the wheel due to foreign material or a tight fit between the wheel and the hub/rotor. Before installing the wheels, remove any corrosion buildup on the wheel mounting surface using the appropriate special tools.

While mounting large tires, keep in mind that it may take up to 70 seconds for all the air to completely exhaust from a large tire. Follow the proper wheel attachment and tire mounting procedures to avoid damaging the wheel at the mounting surface.
