Installation of the front license plate bracket on 2025-2026 Enclave models requires using a short drill bit to avoid damage behind the front fascia. Using a longer drill bit while installing the bracket may damage the wiring harness if the drill bit extends beyond the plastic fascia. (Fig. 9)

At the top holes of the license plate bracket (Fig. 10), use a drill bit approximately 20mm in length (if drilling directly into the fascia) or 30mm in length (if drilling with the bracket in place) in order to prevent damage to the wiring harness.

There is only about 35mm of clearance between the wiring harness and the fascia holes. Do not extend the drill bit beyond the plastic fascia once it has broken through the fascia.
Once installed, the license plate bracket should be positioned in the center of the front lower grille. (Fig. 11)

TIP: Be sure the license plate bracket is positioned correctly on the front fascia. Any modifications or incorrect placement of the bracket on the front fascia may adversely affect the functionality of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
