Multiple DTCs Set Due to Wiring Harness Damage

There may be multiple DTCs set on some 2025 Silverado 1500, Tahoe Suburban, Sierra 1500 and Yukon models equipped with the 3.0L diesel engine (RPO LZ0). The DTCs, including many powertrain and communication codes, may set due to a damaged wiring harness. (Fig. 12, #7)

If there are multiple DTCs set on a vehicle equipped with the 3.0L diesel engine, check the wiring harness for contact with the EGR cooler outlet pipe or the duct bracket. (Fig. 13)

Any damage to the wiring harness should be repaired. Secure the harness to prevent repeat damage.
