Some 2021 Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500; 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD and Sierra 1500 Limited models equipped with the accessory tonneau cover (RPO VPB) may have the trim exposed at the front edge of the cargo box with the cover closed. (Fig. 24)

A poorly fitted tonneau cover may become too tight and pull the front rail rearward when the cover is closed, exposing the trim at the front of the cargo box. (Fig. 24, #2) A revised seal is now available. (Fig. 24, #1) The revised seal is 19 mm wider than the current seal to provide a better fit.

Remove the tonneau cover to install the revised seal, and then reinstall the cover. Refer to Pickup Box Folding Top Cover Package Installation in the Service Information Accessories Manual.
